The famous astrophysicist Andre Brahic has died aged 73 in France.
He became famous thanks to the discovery along with American astronomer William Hubbard. They discovered the rings of Neptune and studied the rings of Saturn. Brahic also participated in the research of NASA on launching “Cassini" and "Voyager” spacecrafts.
The asteroid numbered 3488 was named Brahic in tribute to his work, BBC reported.
