STEPANAKERT. - Atrsakhgas has incurred nearly 2 mln AMD material losses as a result of the military actions in Karabakh.

Together with other settlements, Martakert regional center had also become a target of shelling during the four-day war, the company’s press-service reports. The city’s gas supply system has also been affected by the shelling. Nevertheless, Artsakhgas CJSC didn’t stop its work in Martakert even at the most tense moments of the military actions. Despite scarce resources, a group of Atrakhgas specialists operatively eliminated the consequences of the accident immediately after the shelling. The situation was totally controlled by the company’s local branch. The gas supply of objects of primary importance wasn’t stopped in Maratkert regional center even for a minute.

Gas pipelines of medium and low pressure have also been damaged as a result of the shelling. Besides, the inter-house network of gas pipelines of five apartments is subject to repair.

The restoration work of the damaged gas pipelines is underway in Martakert now.

The company has overall incurred about 2 mln AMD material losses as a result of the shelling by the adversary.
