YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, signed several decrees regarding the dismissal and new appointments of ambassadors.

The Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, in particular, Armenia’s Ambassador to the Holy See, Mikayel Minasyan, has been concurrently appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Portugal; his diplomatic residence will continue to be at the Vatican.

With another presidential decree, Sargis Ghazaryan has been relieved of his duties as Ambassador of Armenia to Italy, Croatia, San Marino, Malta, and Slovenia.

And with respective decrees, Victoria Baghdasaryan has been appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Italy—with her diplomatic residence being in Rome—while Armenia’s Ambassador to Austria, Arman Kirakossian, has been concurrently appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Croatia; his diplomatic residence will continue to be in Vienna.
