YEREVAN. – The delegation from Saint Petersburg, Russia, which has arrived in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan within the framework of Yerevan-Saint Petersburg cooperation, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

Yerevan Municipality informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the delegation members laid a wreath to the monument on behalf of the Government of Saint Petersburg, placed flowers near the Eternal Flame, and observed a minute of silence to honor the holy martyrs of this tragedy.

Subsequently, the guests toured the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, and the heads of this delegation signed its honorary guestbook 

Next, the Saint Petersburg delegation members visited Arabkir Administrative District, where they placed flowers to the Monument to the Children of Besieged Leningrad (Saint Petersburg).
