Russian women’s team led by Yuri Dokhoyan defeated Bulgaria (4:0), winning the title of World Chess Olympic Champion.

For the first time in modern history Russian women’s team managed to beat China, Georgia and Ukraine. 

Chinese and Georgian teams became world champions 4 times each, whereas Ukraine - one at the World Olympics staring from 1992 to 2008.

However, the USSR was a team gaining 11 titles at Olympics. Besides, women’s teams of Israel and Hungary became champions as well.
