STEPANAKERT. – The relatively calm situation along line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces was maintained, from late Tuesday night to early Wednesday morning.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army (NKR/Artsakh DA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time, however, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the arrangement to cease fire, and primarily by way of rifle weaponry.

“[But] the DA vanguard units refrained from [taking] actions in response, and confidently carried out the protection of military positions,” the respective statement reads.
