YEREVAN. - The external turnover between Armenia and the Czech Republic is low, there being no noticeable positive tendency either.

The President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, who is on a working visit to Armenia, said the aforementioned at the Armenian-Czech business forum Wednesday.

“I have brought a large group of successful Czech businessmen with me to Armenia. Why is the turnover of goods low? What can we suggest? On the one hand, traditional goods – Czech beer, excellent glass and Czech off-roaders, which are the best. I am trying to separate the goods from the investments,” the President noted.

According to Zeman, both countries have new ideas and programs, which they plan to implement jointly, this specifically concerning those areas of industry which are new and large-scale.  

Miloš Zeman also referred to the dissatisfaction of the export banks regarding the lack of confidence to the partners. “This relates to all the countries. I’d like to conclude with the quote of a famous Czech businessman: “Don’t say it’s impossible, say it’s impossible for me.”I am sure this will be possible for you.”
