YEREVAN. - The tax inspectors will not be able to require from business documents which do not stem from the aims of check.

Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Vakhtang Mirumyan said the aforementioned in the Armenian Parliament Thursday, introducing the new draft Tax Code.

The aims of the check will have to be presented in writing, he added.    

“We are receiving complaints from the business on that the inspectors demand documents which are not needed for checks. We will regulate this issue in the Tax Code. And therefore, we will reduce the corruption risks,” Mirumyan stated.
