STEPANAKERT. – The relative calm situation along line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces was maintained, from late Monday night to early Tuesday morning.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army (NKR/Artsakh DA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time, however, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the arrangement to cease fire, and by way of rifle weaponry.

“[But] the DA vanguard units, exercising restraint, did not respond to the adversary’s provocative actions, and continued confidently carrying out the military task set before them,” the respective statement reads.
