On October 5, Ukrainian newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kukhta handed over his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
Sargsyan stressed Armenia is sincerely interested in improvement of relations with Ukraine, the RA Presidential press service informed NEWS.am. According to him, there are necessary contractual underpinnings and favorable conditions for expansion of bilateral cooperation. Serzh Sargsyan also attached significance to Armenia-Ukraine cooperation within international agencies.
According to the Ambassador, presently economic and political critical reforms are being implemented in Ukraine and President Viktor Yanukovych attaches great importance to enhancement of relations with Armenia.
The sides also made a point of the economic, cultural, humanitarian and interregional cooperation, as well as intensification of business ties and business forums.
