The Heritage Party proposes postponing the vote on its bill on the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh by Armenia until the next four-day session of the Armenian Parliament, October 25-29, the Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovhannisyan stated in Parliament.
He substantiated the proposal, saying the other parliamentary forces need time to think it over. “The bill on recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh’s independence must become an initiative of the Armenian Parliament as a whole,” Hovhannisyan said.
NEWS.am reminds readers that the Armenian Parliament has stated discussing the bill on recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh submitted by the Heritage Party. The ruling majority, as well as the Armenian Government, objects to the adoption of the bill now.
