The astronomers have discovered a huge canyon on Pluto’s largest satellite Charon, which as the researchers think is the deepest in the solar system. The length of the canyon is up to 700 km , the depth is nine kilometers, reports NASA .
The image of the object is shot by means of the New Horizons station, at a distance of 466 thousand kilometers from Charon , reports RIA Novosti .
