The CIS Interstate Statistical Committee has released information on industrial growth this January-August.

Kyrgyzstan ranks first – a 20.8% growth as compared with the corresponding period last year. Armenia registered 11.5% growth. Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Tajikistan, 10.9%.

This January-August, Belarus registered 9.8% industrial growth, Russia, 9.2%, Uzbekistan 8%, Moldova 5.2% and Azerbaijan 3.8%.

A 9% average industrial growth was registered in the CIS this January-August as compared with the corresponding period last year. No information on Turkmenistan is available
