STEPANAKERT. – The relative calm along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces was mostly maintained, from late Monday night to early Tuesday morning.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army (NKR/Artsakh DA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time, however, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired several non-targeted shots toward Armenian military positions at the southern and northeastern sectors, and primarily by way of rifles and machine guns.

“[But] the DA vanguard units refrained from [taking] actions in response, and they continued carrying out a reliable protection of military positions,” the respective statement reads.
