The CE Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) has adopted a document calling on Armenia to return bodies of Azeri commandoes to Azerbaijan.

This document, a form of a written appeal, is entitled “Urgency of return of Azerbaijani soldiers’ bodies.” It was prepared by Ganira Pashayeva, a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE.

A document calling on Armenia to return bodies of Azerbaijani ensign Mubariz Ibrahimov and officer Farid Ahmadov to Azerbaijan was adopted Wednesday on the third working day of the PACE autumn session.

The document was signed by deputies from different CE countries. Under the PACE charter, written appeals are spread not merely after their release, the presidium declared about at them at a plenary session. Even if other deputies supporting this document with their signature appear during the session, the written appeal is filled with their signatures and released again in numerous editions.

According to the document, on June 18, Armenian armed forces attacked Azerbaijani positions from their posts in the “occupied lands of Azerbaijan.” During the attacks the Armenian armed forces killed the Azerbaijani ensign Mubariz Ibrahimov. The Armenian side refused to give back the body. A few days later his photos were put on the Internet. Since that time, despite the efforts of the Azerbaijan and the International Committees of the Red Cross, Armenian authorities have refuses to return Mubariz Ibrahimov’s body.

Also, according to the document, on September 4 Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire and attacked Azerbaijani positions from the “occupied lands of Azerbaijan.” Azerbaijani officer Farid Ahmedov was killed. Since that time the Armenian state has refused to return his body.
