YEREVAN. -- April of 2016 changed the fates of many Armenian children dividing their life to before the war and after.

Their fathers defended other people's children at the cost of their lives, thus leaving defenseless their own kids.

The families of the dead servicemen appeared in a serious condition. Some families are hiring apartments.

Armenian News - NEWS.am has organized a charity event on the eve of International Children's Day to help their families. All funds raised during the event – 2 million 450 thousand drams – will be donated to the families of the victims. However, fund raising continues and anyone can transfer money to the account opened in the name of the active participant of the action, members of the Council of Elders of Yerevan Anahit Bakhshyan. Fundraising will continue until the end of the month, after which the funds will be transferred to the families of the victims.
