YEREVAN. – The state procurement transparency module of Armenia needs to be improved with joint efforts, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan stated at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

Abrahamyan recalled that, in May, he instructed to increase the transparency of state procurement information, so that those interested can get familiarized with the results of state tenders, by visiting the respective website (www.gnumner.am).

The project module is accessible for central government agencies as of July 1, whereas the municipalities will join it starting from September 1.

The PM instructed the state agencies—and advised those interested—to use this new system more actively, so that its potential shortcomings can be exposed.
