At its sitting on October 7, the Armenian Government decided to raise the minimum monthly salary by 2,500 AMD (about U.S. $7) – from 30,000 AMD up to 32,500 AMD. RA Minister of Labor and Social Security Artur Grigoryan said that the wages are raised under the Government’s medium-term expenditure program.
Since the minimum monthly wage is guaranteed by the government, relevant amendments have to be made to the Law on Income Tax.
