YEREVAN. – A tragic incident occurred in the early morning hours on Friday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. 

A man is suspected of killing his ex-mother-in-law, Karine Mansuryan, with an axe, and inflicting serious bodily injuries to his ex-wife and father-in-law, also with an axe.

A criminal case is launched on charges of murder, and deliberately causing harm to health.

The particulars of the incident are being ascertained.:

Taguhi, 37, and Vachagan Mansuryan, 62, who were axed in their home, have sustained severe open craniocerebral injuries.

The staff of “Erebouni” Medical Center, where these patients are being treated, informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that they have undergone surgery, and they are in critical but stable condition.

Taguhi Mansuryan is connected to an artificial respiration apparatus, whereas her father is breathing on his own.
