YEREVAN. – Prosecutor General of Armenia Gevorg Kostanyan, who is on a visit to Moscow, met with Yury Chaika, Prosecutor General of Russia.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, first, Kostanyan congratulated his Russian colleague on his reelection as Prosecutor General of Russia. He also stressed that the cooperation will further develop between the attorney generals’ offices of the two countries.

Chaika, in turn, thanked Gevorg Kostanyan and Armenia’s leadership for the development of bilateral cooperation in the domain of criminal proceedings. The Russian prosecutor general also underscored the importance of meetings with such format.

The interlocutors expressed confidence that this talk will contribute to a development of the two countries’ collaboration in protection of human rights.

At the ensuing talk, Gevorg Kostanyan and Yury Chaika discussed matters of mutual interest.
