Today NEWS.am got an opportunity to convey complaints received from the companies importing wheat to Armenia to General Director of the South Caucasus Railways (SCR) Shevket Shaydulin.
Talking to NEWS.am, Director of Mancho Group company Vanik Musoyan said that railways leadership is not responsible for disappeared or damaged seals on wheat cargo. Each time the seal is damaged, an importer has to pay $ 275.
The question made Shaydulin nervous. He said that had not received any complaints from importers, adding that those having complaints should address him. According to him, wheat import has increased by 20% within recent 9 months. However, the fines are conditioned by discrepancy of price lists. The SCR Director General considers it is ridiculous to offend the importers as they are company’s main clients.
