Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan had a phone conversation with First Vice President of Iran Eshaq Jahangiri.
The interlocutors praised the relations between two friendly countries, which continue to develop in an atmosphere of mutual trust. The sides discussed a wide range of issues of further expansion and deepening of ties.
During the meeting, Hovik Abrahamyan addressed Eskhagu Jahangiri with an issue of increasing gas imports from Iran as from 10 July to 10 August. Due to repairs on the damaged section of the main gas pipeline in Georgia, the natural gas supply from Russia to Armenia was temporarily suspended. The Iranian side responded positively.
