YEREVAN. – Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan, who is paying a visit to Lithuania, on Tuesday met with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius.

The Ministry of Defense informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that they discussed the prospects for Armenia-Lithuania bilateral cooperation.

The interlocutors also reflected on the ongoing peace negotiations to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In this context, the Lithuanian FM expressed support for a peaceful settlement of this conflict, and with the format of the three co-chairs (Russia, US, and France) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group.

In addition, Linkevičius greatly underscored the successful course of the ongoing Armenia-European Union talks.
