YEREVAN. – Hakop Hakopyan, chairman of the Armenian Hotel Association, says there is a wrong view that recreation is more expensive in Armenia than in numerous other countries.
“There is no monopoly in the hotel industry [in the country]; there is competition,” Hakopyan said at a press conference on Thursday. “The hotels’ offer is greater than the demand. And if there is no monopoly, the prices cannot be high.”
