The 5th conference “Information Security in the 21st century and Armenian journalism” is to be held in Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), on October 12-16. One hundred journalists from the Armenian communities in 25 countries will take part in the conference, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan told reporters. Another 100 journalists from Armenia will take part in the conference as well.

“Numerous editors will arrive. It is important that the conference be organized in Nagorno-Karabakh, for journalists to gain a better knowledge of the country and its problems to provide better coverage in the future,” Hakobyan said.

The conference has been organized as part of the “One nation, one culture” festival. The first meeting of financiers and bankers will take place on the margins of the conference on October 17-19.
