The Azerbaijani authorities have not yet permitted members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) to visit Baku, Giro Manoyan, Head of the Hay Dat (Armenian Cause) office told NEWS.am. He added that the issue of an ARF delegation’s participation in the meeting of the Socialist International Committee for the CIS, the Caucasus and the Black Sea in Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct 11-12, is to be settled today, Oct 9.

The ARF delegation’s participation is undecided. Before selling tickets to ARF members, the Tbilisi office of Azerbaijani Airlines demanded consent of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs or of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia.

As to security guarantees to the ARF delegation, Manoyan said that the Socialist International will ensure security.

Among the delegation members are the ARF Bureau member and Committee Co-Chairman Mario Nalbandian, and Head of the Hay Dat office Giro Manoyan.
