A delegation led by Moscow Vice-Mayor Sergey Baidakov is in Yerevan to take part in the Erebuni-Yerevan celebrations. The distinguished guests arrived in Yerevan at the invitation of Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan, the Yerevan Municipality’s press service informed NEWS.am.

On October 9, Mayor Beglaryan held a meeting with the Moscow delegation. The sides discussed the implementation of Yerevan-Moscow cooperation programs for 2008-2011, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest. Responding to questions concerning the Yerevan-Moscow agreements, Mr. Baidakov pointed out Yerevan is among Moscow’s most reliable partners. He stated all the agreements with Yerevan remain in force. On behalf of Acting Mayor of Moscow Vladimir Resin and of the Moscow Government he stated the bilateral cooperation will go on.

Mr. Baidakov said that the Moscow delegation is pleased to be on a visit to Yerevan. He offered his congratulations on Yerevan Day
