YEREVAN. -- The Kazan document on Karabakh settlement is very close to the Madrid Principles, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said.
“I can say that the Kazan document is very close to the Madrid one. The Armenian side was ready to adopt it, but Azerbaijan made more than 10 proposals that thwarted the talks,” Kocharyan said.
