YEREVAN. - The condition of Armenian Sasna Tsrer armed group members Pavlik and Aram Manukyan still remains critical, their attorney Inessa Petrosyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

In her words, Pavlik Manukyan continues his hunger strike. “I met with Pavlik Manukyan and personally informed him of Sefilian’s call to stop the hunger strike. He heard that and his commander’s urge brought tears to his eyes,” Petrosyan said.  

According to the attorney, father and son Manukyans still remain confined to bed.  “Their injuries are serious. Pavlik Manukyan will undergo several operations in the upcoming days,” Petrosyan said.

The decision about Pavlik Manukyan’s arrest will be appealed in the Appellate Court, while a similar decision with respect to Aram Manukyan has already been appealed, the attorney said. 

As reported earlier, leader of Founding Parliament radical opposition group Jirair Sefilian urged Pavlik Manukyan to stop his hunger strike.
