On October 11, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Slovenian counterpart Samuel Zbogar who had arrived in Armenia within the framework of Slovenian president’s visit.

Edward Nalbandian noted that the first visit of Slovenian President to Armenia and the agreements signed today by the sides will give an impetus to further cooperation between the countries, RA foreign office press service informed NEWS.am. This visit and a joint business forum are first steps of a new stage in bilateral cooperation.

The sides discussed issues of Armenian-Slovenian agenda, exchanged views on regional problems.

Edward Nalbandian and Samuel Zbogar also touched upon Armenia-EU relations, programs implemented in this format and the forthcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of European Partnership program.

Prior to the meeting, Slovenian and Armenian FMs opened a business forum with the participation of over 50 Slovenian businessmen.
