YEREVAN. - A very important conference will be held in Armenia in October; President of Employers of Poland, Andrzej Malinowski, will visit our country, Chairman of the Republican Union of Employers Gagik Makaryan said at a press-conference on Wednesday.

In his words, Marinowski was the Polish Minister of Economy from 2002 to 2004 and authored very important reforms during that period. According to Makaryan, the latter can direct a number of employers to Armenia. “Apart from this, there is a Council of Unions of Employers of 15 countries, which includes Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, etc. I have been elected Chairman of that Council. Its session will be held in Armenia in 2017. The heads of the unions of employers of 15 countries will visit Armenia,” Gagik Makaryan said.

He also added that HighTec Expo of arms and defense technologies, in which the Collective Security Treaty Organization  (CSTO) member-states will take part, will be held in Yerevan’s Expo Center from October 13 to 16.  

“This will be an international platform in terms of exchanging experience and information in connection with the manufacturing of modern military technologies in the CSTO and European countries, as well as U.S.,” Makaryan stressed.

Apart from this, Makaryan noted that an Armenian-Iranian conference will be held in Yerevan from October 5 to 7, which will be attended by the representatives of many Iranian companies. “Another exhibition entitled Made in Armenia will be held in Yerevan from September 19 to 21, this contributing to the investments in the republic’s economy,” he said.
