Baby, whose Armenian mother gave him up in Moscow, has cerebral palsy

YEREVAN. – The infant that was transported from Moscow to Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, and whose mother had given him up, has cerebral palsy.

Liana Karapetyan, Director of “Children’s Home” of Yerevan, told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The child was operated on in Moscow,” she said. “He has numerous health problems; he suffers from cerebral palsy.”

In Karapetyan’s words, the 4-month-old boy is in satisfactory condition, at present.

Earlier, the Police of Armenia news service had informed that an Armenian citizen had petitioned to the relevant Russian authorities and refused to provide further care for her child. On August 12, the infant was transported to Armenia.
