YEREVAN. - Relatives of Sasna Tsrer armed group member Arayik Khandoyan, also known as Lonely Wolf, have gathered on Wednesday outside the Armenian Criminal Court of Appeals, where the hearing on the complaint of the attorneys to change the precautionary measure applied with regard to Khandoyan is taking place.

The minors of Arayik Khandoyan are also by the court, Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent reports. They have brought the Armenian tricolor with them and are scanning “Freedom to Dad”and“Freedom to my hero Dad!”under the windows of the court room where the complaint discussion is being held.

”The kids are looking forward to seeing him; they are proud of him. They know that everything will be just,” Khandoyan’s wife, Anush Hayrapetyan, told Armenian News- NEWS.am.

Arayik Khandoyan, a father of three minors and two adult children, has been brought to the court.

He faces charges under Articles 218.3.1 (hostage-taking) and 235.3 (Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices) of the Armenian Criminal Code.
