On September in Vatican there will be held Mother Teresa's canonization ceremony, which will become a summing up event of the Jubilee of Mercy.

According to the Radio of Vatican, many believers will gather in St. Peter's Square on Sunday to take part in  the Divine Liturgy served by the Pope.  The followers of different religions as well as atheists remember the personality and activities of Mother Teresa - the “Saint for the poor”, the winner of the  Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.

Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu was born on August 26 of 1910, in Skopje, Macedonia. She was the third child of her Albanian parents. At the age 18 she decided to become a nun, left for Ireland, and joined Loreto Irish Sisters' Congregation. Soon, she was sent to Calcutta, where she taught for 20 years at St. Mary's School.

Later, Agnes gave up the pedagogy and devoted her life to the work among the poor people in the slums of Calcutta. Here she founded the Missionaries of Charity .
