YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Saturday issued condolences to the Tamrazyan family. 

Sargsyan extended his commiseration in connection with the untimely passing of capital city Yerevan’s Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran—one of the world’s oldest repositories of ancient manuscripts—Director, National Academy of Sciences of Armenia associate, and renowned poet and translator, Hrachya Tamrazyan.

“Hrachya Tamrazyan devoted his entire activities to the cultural heritage of the Armenian people (…), and he deservedly earned the respect and liking of his colleagues, readers, and all intellectuals,” the Armenian President’s message of condolence reads, in particular.
