Wrestlers from Russia and Armenia competed in a fight on top of Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain peak of Europe.

Russian Sergey Borisov and Armenian Samvel Yesayan took part in an unprecedented competition on the top of Elbrus at the height of 5637m, Daily Mail reports. The Russian became the winner of the fight.

The athletes were selected from a wide range of candidates. Only the fittest could take part in the competition, since it required a huge amount of energy and training.

Both sportsmen had special training prior to the fight, as well as went through an acclimatization process.

The crew started the hike to the top of the mountain at 3am and reached the peak by 9am.

According to Borisov, after this fight they got an exclusive right to organize fights on the level of 5,000 meters above the sea level.

The organizers of the fight are applying to Guinness World Records.
