Relatives of Galstyan brothers murdered on November 16 of 2015 in 2015   are dissatisfied with the investigation, which has recently been completed, said the attorney of Galstyan brothers’ successor Arshak Karapetyan to the NEWS.am. “ They are partially dissatisfied with the investigation . There were investigative actions that should have been undertaken,” said the lawyer.

Arshak Karapetyan noted that they continue suggesting the hypothesis that Hayrapet Sepoyan was probably not alone. However, the agency of preliminary  investigation refuted their motion. " We cannot say if he was alone or wasn’t. Therefore, we introduced a motion to interrogate people in order to clarify that issue. However, the motion was refuted, " he said . 

As reported earlier, on November 16 of 2015 due to shootings, the brothers -  25 -year-old Vardan Galstyan and 35 -year-old Vahe Galstyan - and their friend  27 -year-old Armen Hovhannisyan were killed.

There is still no official version of the cause of the incident. Though, there have been rumors circulating that that the murder was committed a result of a dispute over the cutting the trees in the forest area that the Galstyan brothers owned. The father of the accused, Gagik Sepoyan, who is the forester in that area , according to the Galstyan family, were regularly implementing an illegal logging in that area . It is believed, that on the day of the crime, the Galstyan brothers caught Sepoyan cutting trees, and there started the argument .

The relatives of the Sepoyan family claim that Sepoyan learnt that Galstyan brothers were beating his father and went to protect him. He shot the brothers and their friend then. The Galstyan family insist that there was no fight. 

Hayrapet Sepoyan is charged under Part 1, Paragraph 2 of Article 104 ( murder of two or more people ) , and part 1 of Article 235 ( acquiring illegal firearms and ammunition ) of the Criminal Code .
