The name of one of the villages in the Turkish province of Sivas (Sebastia) has been changed on the basis of its residents’ complaints.

The residents of Kuz village turned to the representatives of the public authorities, requesting them to change the name of the settlement, since it means female genital organ in Kurdish, Turkish website BirGun reports. For this reason, the residents of the neighboring village are constantly making fun of them.

The representatives of the public authorities showed understanding and upon the request of the residents gave the village its old Armenian name Tsmak, since the villagers continued to call their village exactly Tsmak for many years.
