YEREVAN. – Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan attended the 11th Forum of the Silk Road Mayors that was held in Qazvin, Iran.

The discussants at the event conferred on the role of, and the opportunities for further joint projects between, the Silk Road cities, Yerevan Municipality informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

At the forum, the municipality was represented by Mikayel Sahakyan, deputy head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Yerevan Municipality Staff.

During the talk, several matters were also discussed with respect to the planned activities that are stipulated in the memorandum of understanding, which is signed between Yerevan and Qazvin.
