The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) representatives in Azerbaijan visited the POW Arsen Baghdasaryan and provided him with an opportunity to exchange family news.

The visit was conducted in line with the standard ICRC procedures, representative of the ICRC Karabakh office Eteri Musaelyan said in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am inquiry.

According to its mandate, the ICRC visits detainees to monitor their treatment and conditions of detention and help to ensure that they are able to maintain contact with their families.
