YEREVAN. – Even though Armenia’s exports are growing, they still are not the technological ones, economist Vilen Khachatryan said at a press conference on Saturday.

As per Khachatryan, exports from Armenia have increased in the first half of 2016. But first, this growth after the fall was resurgence. And Second, the respective share of high-technology products is still small.

In the first half of the current year, Armenia’s exports increased by 17.4 percent in terms of US dollars, as compared with the first half of 2015, and amounted to $815 million.
