Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed the Syrian conflict with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu following the results of the meeting with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Geneva, Sputnik News reported.
Ministers expressed mutual understanding on the importance of ceasefire and the resumption of intra-Syrian talks.
At the same time it is specified that the conversation took place on September 9 on the initiative of the Turkish side.
