YEREVAN. - The Civil Contract Party of Armenia nominates MP Nikol Pashinyan for the post of the prime minister.

The proposal was made in the Liberty Square by the party member Lena Nazaryan. In her words, Pashinyan is nominated to speed up the process of power change and remove Serzh Sargsyan.

In the future the party will start talks with the opposing forces to form a shadow government.

Armenian News - NEWS.am correspondent reports that the rally participants welcomed the proposal with applauses.
