The three car accident occurred in downtown Yerevan, at about 21:40 local time at the intersection of Baghramian and Demirchian Streets, near the Armenian parliament, photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan told NEWS.am from the scene. As a result of an accident 2 people (woman and young man) were hospitalized.

At the moment, the police are at the scene and the traffic of the surrounding streets is blocked.   

Lexus SUV, VAZ 2106 and an Opel collided. According to eyewitnesses, the Lexus SUV had a government license plate, but before the arrival of the police an unknown person removed it from the vehicle.
