YEREVAN. - It is pleasant that despite different viewpoints, the parliamentary political forces found a nerve to reach an agreement.  

Chief of the Armenian Government Staff, Davit Harutyunyan, stated the aforementioned on Tuesday at the ceremony of signing an agreement with the opposition on the amendments to the Electoral Code and re-equipment of polling stations.

In his words, the political dialogue is very important for the development of the country, It remains to express satisfaction with the fact that different political forces managed to reach consensus, Harutyunyan said. He also expressed hope that the wish to hold dialogue will not only retain but also strengthen in the new parliament.

The Chief of Government Staff thanked the representatives of the civil society for their proposals regarding the amendments to the Electoral Code, as well as the leader of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabyan for his great contribution to the organization of the dialogue with the government, opposition and civil society.

''I would also like to thank his deputy colleagues from Prosperous Armenia faction and Orinats Yerkir,'' Harutyunyan stressed.
