YEREVAN. – Newly appointed Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on Wednesday had a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev of Russia.

The Armenian PM extended his congratulations and good wishes to his Russian colleague, on the latter’s birthday, the Press Office of the Government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Karapetyan also praised Medvedev’s personal contribution to the development of Armenia-Russia allied cooperation.

In addition, the Armenian premier underscored the active cooperation among the governments of Armenia and Russia, and the deepening of bilateral trade and economic ties between the two countries.

Furthermore, Karen Karapetyan thanked Dmitry Medvedev for his congratulations extended to him, on his appointment as Prime Minister of Armenia.
