YEREVAN. - The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and me have personally nothing to do with any monopolies.

Armenian National Assembly (NA) Speaker Galust Sahakyan told the aforementioned to journalists in the NA on Wednesday.

“Even if there are certain monopolies, this doesn’t mean that I am personally somehow interlinked with them. If a person has a business and works in it, then why should this be ascribed to the party?” the speaker said.

To the observation that many RPA deputies, including Samvel Aleksanyan, Mher Sedrakyan and others, have business, he said: “First of all, not all of them are included in our party (some of them are included in the faction but not the party). But even if someone from our party members has business, this shouldn’t be ascribed to the RPA in a political sense.  This can be done only in case something happens.”
