YEREVAN. – The Armenian government is doing everything for the compatriots from Syria as much as it is possible, Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said.

The process of negotiations gives hope that the wave of aggression and hostilities may be reduced.

“Here we are - one of the parties concerned, taking into account the large Armenian community in Syria. It is no secret that the Armenian consulate is the only one foreign consulates operating in Aleppo during all these years,” Kocharyan said.
