YEREVAN. – Armenia’s permanent representative at the Council of Europe, Ambassador Paruyr Hovhannisyan met with the Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muiznieks to  confirmed Armenia’s assistance to the implementation of commissioner's mandate.

The commissioner briefed the Ambassador on his program, noting the current challenges, in particular, the migration crisis and the fight against terrorism.

The interlocutors touched upon the recent developments in Armenia. Permanent Representative of Armenia touched upon the constitutional reforms and the resulting changes. He highlighted the issues related to improving the efficiency of human rights protection.
