YEREVAN. – The Meghri Free Economic Zone will be a good project for the businesses of Armenia and Iran, noted Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, at a press conference on Friday.

Hovhannisyan said this as he presented details on the Armenia Expo 2016 trade fair that will be held from October 5 to 8 in Tehran, the capital city of Iran.

“It will be possible to create favorable conditions for production, to regulate exports there,” stated the Armenian deputy minister.

Hovhannes Hovhannisyan added that the prospects for a new free economic zone also will be discussed during the talks between the business representatives and state officials of the two countries, within the framework of the said trade fair.
